Terms of Service

Bookings & Payments

• A reservation is confirmed once a deposit is received and written confirmation is issued by Kalis Safari.
• A minimum deposit of 30% is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due at least 30 days prior to departure.
• We accept payments via bank transfer or credit card (subject to prior arrangement).

Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made 30 days or more before departure are eligible for a 70% refund.
• Cancellations made between 15–29 days before departure receive a 40% refund.
• Cancellations within 14 days of departure or no-shows are non-refundable.
• If Kalis Safari cancels your tour, you may choose between a full refund or an alternative tour of equal value.

Amendments

• Booking amendments are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• Changes requested within 14 days of departure may be subject to administrative fees.

Travel Requirements

• Clients are responsible for ensuring they possess valid passports, visas, and any required travel documents.
• It is your responsibility to obtain recommended vaccinations and adhere to health precautions (e.g., malaria, yellow fever).

Insurance

• Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory. It must cover medical emergencies, cancellations, and personal belongings.
• Proof of insurance may be requested prior to departure.

Liability

• Participation in safari activities is at your own risk.
• Kalis Safari is not liable for incidents resulting from wildlife behavior, weather conditions, or third-party services.
• Clients must adhere to all safety instructions provided by our guides.

Force Majeure

Kalis Safari shall not be held responsible for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to war, strikes, pandemics, or natural disasters.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes shall be resolved under Tanzanian jurisdiction.
